Terms of Use

Mentorflix is a platform that lets creators build and run paid communities under their own brand — including a feed, courses, mentorship, live streams, events, and recurring subscriptions.

There are two roles on the platform: creators, who hire Mentorflix to host and operate their communities, and members, who participate in the communities run by creators. The service evolves continuously — features may be added, adjusted, or replaced to improve the experience.

To use Mentorflix, you declare that you:

• Are 18 or older, or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under applicable law.
• Provided true, complete, and up-to-date information when signing up.
• Have not had a previous account suspended or terminated for violating these terms.

Your account is personal and you are responsible for everything that happens in it:

• Keep your credentials confidential and use a strong, unique password.
• Do not share your access — each account belongs to a single person.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or suspected compromise.
• Keep your registration and billing information up to date.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following conditions:

• The applicable prices and conditions are those published at the time of purchase, and may vary by currency and region.
• Billing is recurring, on the cycle you choose (monthly, quarterly, or yearly), handled by our payment provider.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle, unless cancelled beforehand.
• You can cancel at any time, with no penalty, directly from the dashboard — access remains until the end of the period already paid.
• Price changes will be communicated in advance and take effect from the following cycle.
• Applicable taxes may be added according to the laws of your country.
• Refunds follow the statutory right of withdrawal and the policy in force at the time of purchase.

All content you create and publish on the platform remains yours. By publishing it, you grant us only the limited, non-exclusive, revocable license needed to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in operating the service. In addition:

• You declare that you hold all rights to the content you publish, including third-party licenses where applicable.
• You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for the consequences of publishing it.
• We may remove content that violates these terms or the law, with notice whenever possible.
• Copyright infringement reports can be sent to contato@mentorflix.io and will be reviewed with priority.

After content or account deletion, technical copies may persist temporarily in backups until they expire in regular cycles.

If you run a community on Mentorflix, you take on additional responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the content, offers, and promises made to your members — Mentorflix provides the infrastructure, not the content.
• Your community’s rules must be compatible with these terms and with applicable law.
• You act as the controller of your members’ data and must process it in accordance with data protection law.
• Tax obligations on your sales are yours — issue the documents required by the laws of your country.
• Offers, prices, and conditions presented to your members must comply with applicable consumer law.

When using the platform, it is prohibited to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks, or any third-party intellectual property.
• Engage in harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any abusive conduct toward other users.
• Send spam, chain messages, or promote fraudulent or deceptive schemes.
• Scrape the platform, reverse engineer it, or attempt to access unauthorized areas.
• Overload, interfere with, or compromise the security and integrity of the platform.
• Distribute malware or any malicious code.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

The platform, the Mentorflix brand, logos, design, and code are the property of Mentorflix and protected by intellectual property law. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service while these terms are in force.

Suggestions and feedback about the product may be freely used to improve the platform, with no obligation of compensation — without affecting the ownership of your content.

The platform integrates third-party services — such as payment processing, video streaming, and scheduling tools. Use of those services may also be subject to the respective providers’ terms and policies.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content accessed from the platform, including links published by creators and members.

We work to keep the platform available and stable, with monitoring and regular backups. Even so, temporary unavailability may occur — due to scheduled maintenance, third-party failures, or events beyond our control.

We may modify, replace, or discontinue features to evolve the product; changes that significantly affect your use will be communicated with reasonable notice. We recommend periodically exporting the data that matters to you.

About the end of the relationship between you and the platform:

• You may close your account at any time, directly from the dashboard or by contacting support.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law — with prior notice whenever possible, and immediately for serious violations.
• Upon termination, access to the platform ends. Before data is permanently deleted, you have a reasonable period to export what you need.
• Clauses that by nature survive termination — intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — remain in force.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The platform is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it will meet every specific requirement or operate without interruption.
• We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
• We are not responsible for the content, offers, or conduct of creators and members — responsibility lies with whoever publishes.
• Our total liability, for any cause, is limited to the amount you paid for the platform in the 12 months preceding the event.

Nothing in these terms removes rights the law guarantees you — including consumer protection law, where applicable — nor limits liability in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or the law. Relevant changes will be communicated with reasonable notice — by email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after they take effect implies acceptance of the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

We will always seek to resolve any dispute amicably first. If that is not possible, the courts of your place of residence are elected for consumer relationships, as provided by applicable law.
